Context: | The aim of the unit was to familiarize students with reading and writing recounts based on biographical or personal experiences. In the first part of the unit, focus was put on the typical text features such as organization of temporal steps, the use of headings, and illustrations. Students were also involved in exploring language functions and structures used to describe or relate past events. In the second part of the unit, students were encouraged to create their personal recounts. Finally, students were asked to present the posters based on their recounts. |
